Auf Klassenfahrt in Asien soll Lehrer Müller von der Goethe-Gesamtschule der versnobten Konkurrenz vom Schiller-Gymnasium die thailändische Partnerschule abspenstig machen. Seine Direktorin erhofft sich von dieser Mission gute PR und mehr Budget, Müller dagegen die Rückführung der ihm vom Ex-Komplizen überlassenen Beute, die, in einem Kuscheltier versteckt, in Thailand gelandet ist. Von der Betreuung seiner förderbedürftigen Schüler ist Müller schwer genervt, bis ihn deren Solidarität und gutes Herz umdenken lassen.
Wie schon in "Türkisch für Anfänger" zieht es Autor-Regisseur Bora Dagtekin für die Fortsetzung seines Millionenhits an einen exotischen Schauplatz.
